Equipment

My workshop is small and the same space is used for all operations.
I now have the tools that I need and can move them around as necessary.

Electric Bending Iron
for convenience.
I have also had good results using a heat gun blowing into a metal pipe.

The Bandsaw is essential  and the blades are
inexpensive, so change them often.
Simple Pillar Drill and modified Grindstone.
The Thicknesser will take ribs, tops and backs  down to 2mm and is probably the best labour saving device you will ever buy. I add a baseboard to the table to allow me to cut lower, in safety.
The Humble Vacuum Cleaner
It is also used to extract the waste from the Bandsaw and the Thicknesser.

The Router  (powerful with large cutter)
It is mounted through a table and has an adjustable fence with a bull nose for following curves. Used for purfling and binding rebates.
Feeler Guages
For setting up Nut and Bridge height.
Scalpel
More useful than you would imagine.

Dremel and Trammel for cutting rosette slots and
sound holes.
